Creative Challenge: Geek Edition, highlights from week #2

Sorry I didn’t publish this earlier–it’s been a rough week for me.

As I’m sure you know by now, I’ve issued a creative challenge with a geeky theme. It has been going on for 22 days now, but it’s not too late to join in! Just use the hashtag #geekuary wherever you post. Visit my blog post (here) to find out what the upcoming challenges are! Also, if you’re on Facebook, you can join the event (here) to share what you’ve made with some of the other participants.

As always, you were challenged to make something to fit the theme using your own medium of choice. Here are my top three favorite creations from week #2!

My first selection comes from Megan Shea–she made dragon versions of two of the Doctors out of clay, then set them in resin shaped like the TARDIS. So cute!

My second selection comes from Barbara Henning, who made a shiny piece of wall art featuring three fantastic space shows. Can you recognize all of them?

Lastly, my favorite piece of the week comes from Andrew Schmidt. It’s another crossover, this time with Star Wars and Futurama. It’s amazing. If you like it, be sure to stop by his Facebook page and let him know!

This week the challenge is to create something from your favorite geeky TV show or movie. Simple enough, right? Remember to share with the hashtag #geekuary!
